Terms of Use

These terms apply to the website dock.pejava.com and to the online services of PejavaDock: the account, settings sync, update checks and downloads (“the Services”). The app itself is licensed under the License Agreement.

PejavaDock is made by Roman Khomyakov (“we”, “us”). Contact: privacy@pejava.com.

1. Accepting the terms

By using the website or the Services you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Services; the app works without an account.

2. Your account

  • You sign in with GitHub or Google. You are responsible for that account and for everything done with your PejavaDock account.
  • One person, one account. Do not share your account or use someone else’s.
  • You can delete your account at any time: Settings → Account → Delete Account.

3. Settings sync

Sync stores your docks and settings so you can restore them. It is a convenience, not a backup: the settings file on your Mac stays the main copy. We may limit the size of synced data (currently 1 MB per account).

4. Acceptable use

Do not:

  • break, overload or probe the Services (except responsible security research reported to us);
  • use the Services to store or distribute anything illegal or malicious;
  • get around the Supporter status or limits;
  • use automated means to create accounts or to download in bulk.

5. Donations and the Supporter status

  • Donations are voluntary and are made through GitHub Sponsors under GitHub’s terms. Refunds are handled by GitHub’s rules; a donation is otherwise non-refundable.
  • A donation of $1 or more makes your account a Supporter: the free version’s reminders and messages are turned off on all your Macs. The status does not expire.
  • A donation does not buy the app or extra rights to it; the app is free under the License Agreement.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the Services running but do not promise that they will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop a Service; if we stop settings sync, we will give at least 30 days’ notice. The app keeps working without the Services.

7. Ending access

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. You can stop using the Services at any time and delete your account.

8. No warranty, limitation of liability

THE WEBSITE AND THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT DAMAGES OR LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS ARISING FROM THEIR USE. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law in your country gives you and that cannot be limited.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. We will publish the new version on this page with a new date; important changes will also be announced in the app. If you keep using the Services after that, the new terms apply.
