Version 0.2.0 · Released October 12, 2026
Download PejavaDock
PejavaDock is a native alternative to the macOS Dock. Keep everything you are used to — magnification, stacks, the Trash, drag and drop — and add more docks, iOS-style groups, web links and a look of your own.
This is an early preview. Builds appear here as soon as they are published.
What’s new · 0.2.0
- Unlimited docks on any screen edge and any display; each dock remembers its display and comes back when it is reconnected.
- iOS-style groups: drop an app onto another app; up to four items share one icon, more open a panel.
- Web links from the browser with automatic site icons; “Open as App Window” for Chrome, Edge and Brave.
- Liquid Glass background on macOS 26, frosted blur with adjustable color, opacity and corners everywhere else.
Install in a minute
Your docks are kept in your Library folder, so reinstalling or updating never loses them.
- Open the downloaded
.dmgand drag PejavaDock to Applications. - Start it from the Applications folder, Launchpad or Spotlight (⌘ Space, type “PejavaDock”).
- The first time, macOS may say it cannot check the app for malicious software. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway next to PejavaDock, then confirm. This is needed once.
- PejavaDock builds your first dock from the system Dock. Turn on Hide the system Dock in Settings → General if you want only PejavaDock on screen.
Permissions (optional)
- Accessibility
- the window list in an app’s menu, raising a specific window, minimized windows in the dock and keeping windows from going under a dock.
- Full Disk Access
- the full or empty Trash icon.
- Screen Recording
- thumbnails of minimized windows; without it they show the app icon. Nothing is recorded or sent.
PejavaDock works without them. When one is missing, a setup window explains what it is for and opens the right place in System Settings.
